INSURE CHAT collects a series of data directly or on behalf of the any users.
You are not required to provide personal data as a condition of using INSURE CHAT "Website".
INSURE CHAT does not monitor the type of personal and non personal data collected and inputted by the members.
The data collected are the sole proprietorship of the user and any member attached to the Policy, case created, published and produced into INSURE CHAT.
At any time the user/member may edit, delete directly via the platform any data he/she may have created, edited, published or produced into the platform.

2. Purpose of Use
All information collected, including Non Personalized Identification Information (NPII) and Personalized data, may be used by us in the aggregate or individually and may be combined with other information for purposes including but not limited to the following:
Administering the Website & the App
Verifying your identity for the purposes of providing the Wellnex products or services to eligible members of the programme only;
Improving your browsing experience by personalizing the Website or the App; enabling your use of the services available on the Website;
Providing to you services that you have specifically requested, responding to your enquiries or requests pursuant to your emails and/or submission of form(s) on the Website;
Responding to and taking follow-up action on complaints;
Providing third parties with statistical information about our users – but such information will not be used to identify any individual user.

User may at anytime withdraw to the INSURE CHAT Platform by editing or deleting the set of data provided.
User may at anytime request INSURE CHAT to delete the data and confirm that the personal data and all the history of data storage be communicated.
We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.
We will comply to the rules and regulation of the country where INSURE CHAT operates when it comes to data management (storage, flow, collection) and security requirement.
We will store all the personal information you provide on secure servers. All electronic transactions you make to or receive from us will be encrypted using SSL technology.
You understand that the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Website; any transmission is at your own risk.
For registered users under INSURE CHAT where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password, which enables you to access certain parts of the Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone. We will NEVER ask you for your password other than when you log in to the INSURE CHAT

5. IP ADDRESSES
When you use the Website, we may collect and store information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration.
This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse the Website and also allows us to improve the Website.
7. THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
The Website may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks and vendors.

8. RETENTION POLICY
Section 25 of the PDPA requires an organisation to cease to retain its documents containing personal data, or remove the means by which the personal data can be associated with particular individuals, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that the purpose for which that personal data was collected is no longer being served by retention of the personal data, and retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
9. DELETION OF DATA
When Agent or Admin choose to delete the data in the system, the deletion functions are called, which in turn to call "DELETE SQL" to delete data immediately from the database.
my-insurer will issue an email reminder 3 working days following the expiration of a subscription should no renewal be made. You will be given a grace period of 14 working days to effect a renewal before the account is deemed inactive and my-insurer will proceed to close it; thereby removing all the data within.
my-insurer retains the data of their employees up to 30 working days from the date of resignation provided that it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purposes for which the personal data were collected, and are no longer necessary for legal or business purposes. Unless, it is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT AND SHARE
We are collecting the following data in order to be able to perform the Service:
email address: this act as your login and allows us to send you notifications about changers to a case.
Your relationship to the unit that you are associated with: we need this to route cases to you without sharing your email address with other users.
Optionally we might collect the following additional data:
First and last name: so we can display these to other users instead of your email address.
The details of policies and the case associated with
Your profile picture
Any message that you have added to a case
Any attachment that you have added to a case or policy
An image of your signature each time you endorse a report
We process your personal data under the following legal bases:
Performance of a contract with you
We process your personal data to perform our obligations under the Service Terms applicable to the product or service you are using.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
When you fill a contact form to contact our support team, we will keep these data for 2 years after you have deleted your account with INSURE CHAT .

How long we retain your data?
